I hear this all the time:
“I’m not flexible enough to swing like that.”
I get it. You watch the pros coil up like rubber bands and think, “No way my back does that.”
But you don’t need to be as flexible as a gymnast for a natural, pain-free swing.
One of my favorite ways to help do this — especially as we get a little older or stiffer — is to “pre-turn” the hips slightly at setup.
Instead of squaring your hips to the ball, rotate them just a touch away from the target. Now you’re already in motion… without forcing a big turn.
